Account and data deletion
Papyra does not create accounts of its own. You sign in with your Google account, and your books, projects and notes are stored on your device and in your own Google Drive.

How to delete your data
- In Papyra, go to Settings → Sync → Disconnect Google Drive. This removes your account's access credentials from the device.
- To erase the synced files, delete the Papyra folder from your Google Drive.
- Uninstall the app to remove the data stored on the device.
- To delete the record tied to your subscription, write to contact@papyra.site stating the email address you used with Papyra. We will delete it within a maximum of 30 days.
No servers of oursPapyra has no user database. There is nothing for us to delete on your behalf beyond the subscription record described in step 4.
What data is retained
Purchase and billing records are retained for as long as tax regulations and Google Play policies require, even when the rest of the information is deleted.
- Retained: purchase and billing records, for the legally required period.
- Deleted: the record tied to your subscription, within a maximum of 30 days of your request.
- Under your control: your library, highlights, projects and notes, on your device and in your own Google Drive.
